Mashequr Rahman Khan
I am Mashequr Rahman Khan, an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Brandeis University, to be advised by Assistant Professor Kostas Solomos. My research interests lie at the intersection of web security and large language models, with broader interests in software engineering, program analysis, software testing, and secure systems.
Before joining Brandeis, I worked as a Software Engineer at IDLC Finance PLC and as a Software Developer in AI at Invisible Technologies. I also completed a software engineering research internship with Professor Darko Marinov at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I worked on mutation testing and equivalent mutant analysis.
My previous work spans software engineering research, applied AI evaluation, secure systems, and enterprise software development. I am especially interested in building practical techniques for analyzing, testing, and securing modern software systems, including systems that integrate or depend on large language models.
I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science from BRAC University, graduating with Highest Distinction. My earlier work includes research on Bangla sign language recognition and an undergraduate thesis on blockchain-based device authentication.
